PATH OF THE SPIRIT
Reflections on the medicines, music and traditions — and practical guidance for preparing, sitting in ceremony and integrating what you receive.
Icaros are the healing songs of Amazonian plant medicine. Learn what icaros are, how they guide an Ayahuasca ceremony, and how MINJAY weaves icaros, Sanskrit mantras and live medicine music together.
Where the Ayahuasca served at MINJAY ceremonies in Cape Town comes from: plants sourced from and blessed by Shipibo communities, and every brew cooked by Jayesh Mitha with love and respect in the traditional way.
Why Ayahuasca has spread around the world: a search for healing, meaning and reconnection — and why the real medicine is the consciousness it helps us cultivate.
How music, mantras and icaros interact with plant medicine: synaesthesia, brainwave entrainment, emotional release and the role of drums, chakapa, guitar and flute in ceremony.
Soma in the Rigveda and its striking parallels with Ayahuasca: sacred elixirs of transformation, divine connection and guided ritual across Vedic and Amazonian traditions.
